The Male Atolls Revealed
The Malé Atolls in the Maldives are a dream spot for both surfers and holidaymakers. Seasoned surfers come here for the top-notch breaks, while intermediate riders will have a blast on long, peeling rights and lefts. Up north, check out Chicken’s, Cokes, and Lohis, and down south, Kandooma Right and Foxeys deliver some of the best waves.
Surfing in the South
With so many quality breaks packed into a small area, the best way to explore the southern Maldives is by boat charter. Surfing in the Maldives usually begins here – Beacons is the standout, offering powerful, flawless waves with an Indonesian-style vibe. The Central Surf Spots
The Central Atolls might fly under the radar compared to North and South Malé, but surfers are starting to flock here to escape the northern crowds.
