Redefining traditions, Thailand boasts of unique culture which has been passed down through centuries. The Lanna period which led to Ayutthaya and followed by the Rattanakosin era presented Thailand with some of the finest cultural sites. Those who are interested in learning about the culture often visit the museum located near the Grand Palace where priceless antiques from the ancient eras are placed for the viewing pleasure of the visitors. Bangkok also features plenty of eateries which range from 5 star restaurants to street vendors who serve traditional Thai culinary delights. Various festivals are spread out through the year and features special festivals such as the Loi Kratong, the festival of lights which is celebrated nationwide.  Bangkok is a must visit tourist destination as it has a lot to offer for travellers from all walks of life.
