Enjoy Night Retail Therapy at the Ratchada Night Bazaar

Bangkok Thailand embodies the essence of good shopping encompassing high end expensive and exclusive branded goods as well as modest knick knacks for an average sum, not to mention the multitude markets that sell all sorts of goods and products for incredibly low prices. Therefore, one of the greatest things about shopping in the capital of Thailand is the variety of shopping experiences that are available: from high end malls to small street markets regardless of the time.
One of the most well known night markets is probably the Patpong Night Market which is constantly busy but this is not say that it is the only one. Bangkok is well known for its abundance of night markets and bazaars that sell a varied collection of goods whether it is clothing or souvenirs. For shoppers searching for items with a more youthful outlook, Kha San Road shopping is ideal for it sells t-shirts, cheap jewellery and beach attire in abundance while for second hand goods, souvenirs and of course, food, the place to go is the Khlong Lod Night Market. Goods here are cheap and there would always be items that one can add to their closet. The Khlong Thom Market, is yet another bazaar with a twist for shoppers need a torch to see the goods thereby giving it its former name of ‘Flashlight Market”.
The Ratchada Night Bazaar is the place to go for random collections of goods, be it leather bags, shoes, books or antiques you seek. Most of the goods are second hand but the bazaar sells brand new goods as well. The items here are also quite cheap so gear up for a shopping spree like no other. This bazaar is open every Saturday from 6.30 in the evening to 2.00am in the morning so one can see the sights of Bangkok during the day at shop at night.
This bazaar which was formerly known as the Ratchada-Lad Phrao Junction Night Market grew prominence as a place for used classic car parts. As a result, at present one can also view a number of small showrooms that display vintage cars and will be a delightful excursion for a classic car enthusiast.
Visiting this city is always a delight thanks to the hospitality of its people, the amazing shopping and of course the 5 star hotels in Bangkok. Most of the time, opting to reside at a Bangkok resort in the city ensures that the moment you step out of your hotel in the night, you are immersed in the hustle and bustle of the night markets. Staying at a hotel like the Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa would mean that after a fabulous night of retail therapy, you can spend the next few hours being pampered at their world class spa, thereby making it a holiday to remember.
