Travellers on the lookout for luxury hotels Bangkok counts among its finest rest should stay at the Anantara Bangkok Sathorn. Offering guests an elegant base this stylish rest is ideal for holidaymakers and business travellers.

Sprawled across an impressive 120 acres, Bangkok’s Siam Park City holds the distinct honour of being one of the country’s premier amusement park spaces. Established as far back as 1975 the larger than life theme park was the brain child of Chaiwat Luangamornlert. Attracting an impressive 2 million visitors annually the water park cum amusement haven is a holiday treat for the masses.
Tipped to be one of most expansive water parks and theme parks in all of Southeast Asia Siam Park City is an award winning recreational centre that secured the coveted Outstanding Performance for Recreational Attraction and Entertainment award as recently as 2010. Having been graced by the likes of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, Siam Park City is also home to the largest wave pool in the world. Measuring in at 13,600m2 the massive wave pool is one of the chief highlights of a visit to the park and is part of the only man-made beach venue in Bangkok. Divided in to four regions which include a water park, theme park and an amusement park the latter is further divided in to four main zones named Small World, Fantasy World, Family World and the X-Zone.
Renovated in 2007 the park now houses more than 30 rides including Vortex, one of the globe’s biggest suspended looping roller coasters. Other highlights include the Giant Drop, Topspin, Log Flume and Boomerang rides while Mega Dance, Condor and Aladdin are equally popular. The Double Decker Merry-Go-Round, Twin Dragons and Monster are other must-experience rides at the locale which also houses dinosaur themed rides dubbed Dinotopia and Jurassic Adventure. Space fanatics can hit orbit aboard the Astro-Liner flight simulator and Enterprise while the UFO inspired Trabant ride is another favourite.
The water park at Siam Park City encompasses speed slides, a Spa Club and a Super Spiral as well as a Lazy River that meanders across the entire water park.
