Auckland is indeed a great city in New Zealand with a lot of things to see and do. Auckland Opera House (which is often known as New Zealand Opera) is one such great attraction in the city.

Where is it?
From any Auckland city hotel the likes of Avani Auckland Metropolis Residences, travelling to the Opera House is easy as it’s located in the Saint Georges Bay Road in Parnell.
A bit from its history
In 2000, a merger happened between the former Opera New Zealand, the National Opera of Wellington and Southern Opera in Christchurch. This modern opera was founded in 2000 as a result of this.
Its journey so far
It has seen the birth of more than 450 opera performances so far in its journey and has entertained more than 700,000 people in the audience.
Upcoming events
Auckland Opera House always has something for everyone. In the time to come, it will feature ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ and many other site-specific works such as ‘Eight Songs for a Mad King’, ‘Semele’ and ‘The Human Voice’.
