From golden beaches and mystical mountains, to boutique cafes and bustling markets, Da Nang has it all. Before you embark on your adventures in Central Vietnam, here’s everything you need to know about choosing where to stay in Da Nang.

Downtown Da Nang

Located west of the Han River, the downtown area is the urban heart of Da Nang – where restaurants, cafes, and markets intermingle with heritage buildings and glass towers. With the airport nearby and plenty of retail and dining options, these wards are perfect if you prefer convenience above all else.

Ngu Hanh Son

The former Ngu Hanh Son district is home to some of the most scenic locations in the region, just minutes from the best resorts in Da Nang, Vietnam. From the pristine shores of My Khe Beach to the ancient pagodas of the Marble Mountains, hotels here, like Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang, offer the ideal base for a more natural setting.

Son Tra

Home to the breathtaking Son Tra peninsula, this sprawling area offers a much quieter escape along the coastline. Situated north of Ngu Hanh Son, Son Tran is home to almost-empty beaches, idyllic cafes, and a respite from bustling city life.

Lien Chieu & Thanh Khe

For something much more authentic, stay in Lien Chieu or Thanh Khe. Far more residential than the resort towns, these two areas provide a glimpse into local life in Da Nang, plus affordable and delicious street food.
