Billed as Kandy’s biggest IT exhibition, Talent Soft 2015 is set to take place from 9th to 10th October at the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education on Keppatipola Road. If you are visiting from out of town for this event a great idea would be to stay overnight at a hotel Kandy has to offer such as Earl’s Regent Kandy which makes an ideal base for sightseeing too.
Back to Talent Soft! So what you can expect at this event is lots of new technology and trends in the IT field and many likeminded technophiles, both young and old coming together. Students of the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education will also get a chance to showcase their skills and technical knowhow at this event so expect to see some innovative creations being put on display.
What to expect at the show? Well there will be the usual IT exhibition at the venue, but also look forward to other interesting features as well. A quiz competition is being held as part of the event, which will also have a computer museum, a quad copter & RC plane show and an e-magazine as part of its showcase. One aspect definitely worth checking out will be the software and graphic designing competitions. Participants have to come up with unique PC, web and mobile applications and with the IT talent in Sri Lanka, competition is bound to be tough.
